The TJX companies

In Summer of 2018 I received a job offer to intern at the TJX Companies in Framingham, MA. I spent 12 weeks as a Planning and Allocation Intern. My role included strategic thinking to drive sales and profit for the segment of the company I was responsible for. I was able to successfully allocate product by analyzing weekly sales reports and develop merchandise strategies. 

 

Throughout the 12 weeks I had the opportunity to work alongside my colleagues to create a special project based on a business driving idea, immerse myself in a new city, and  learn the ins and outs of off-price retail.
